Policy Statement
It is the policy of Indiana University that no funds received from the United States Government will be used to promote or advocate prostitution, sex trafficking and related activities. This policy shall not be construed to prevent medical treatment or the provision of other medical care to any person, or to those specific activities authorized by applicable federal, state or local law, rule, regulation, or the terms or any specific grant, award, cooperative agreement or contract.
History
This policy became effective on October 10, 2006 by action of IU President Adam W. Herbert. A copy of the policy, as signed by President Herbert, is available in the Related Forms section.
